There are three professional fishermen in Ouessant. A fishmarket is held in front of the church every morning from 10h30 to 12h (10h à 12h in the summer), weather permitting. Otherwise, place an order directly with the fisherman – delivery is free.

Ouessant black bee honey

On sale at the Stiff lighthouse, headquarters of the association for the protection of Breton black bees : www.abeillenoireouessant.fr
The honey is also sold at the entrance to the town in the Marché des Îles grocery and at Carol’s creperie, Stang ar Lann : 06 84 61 69 42

Cash machines can be found at Spar, at the 8 à 8 and at the café.

• The grocery stores in Lampaul (15 mn walk from the house) all offer free delivery.

At the house there is a notebook with addresses, practical information, a restaurant list, itineraries etc.

Les ragouts sous les mottes ( local speciality – a lamb and vegetable stew) are made by Marie Jo Dugal. To order, go to her haberdasher’s shop: downhill next to the Post Office.
